A woman on vacation with her best friend in Lahaina, Hawaii, stayed in the pool at their rental unit while a deadly wildfire broke out around them recently. Kristina Lee-Garrido and Misty Guantonio used the SOS feature on their iPhones to connect with emergency services because cell service was down.
