A brush fire scorched through 30 acres of land Sunday afternoon on the north end of Egmont Key, fire officials said. Crews with the Lealman Fire District and Tierra Verde Fire District responded to the fire starting around 4:30 p.m. The fire was successfully extinguished Sunday night, the Lealman Fire District told 10 Tampa Bay.
