The reported suspicious package that led a Walmart to evacuate customers Thursday morning was deemed "no threat to the public," according to the Tampa Police Department. Officers responded to the store at 1505 N. Dale Mabry Highway where there was a concern about something suspicious located outside near the back of the building. Investigators later determined that the box was a normal store purchase item that had the labeling removed, which left "just a cardboard package that caused concern."
