Thunderstorms brought dark clouds and vivid lightning to parts of western Oregon on Thursday, May 18, footage shows. Videos posted to Twitter Thursday night by @SwooshMcDuck show lightning forking through the sky in Sunriver, southeast of Portland, they said. A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for Deschutes County, as the National Weather Service warned of 50 mph winds and possible hail up to quarter-size.
