Description
After signing several education related bills at a press conference in Sarasota on Monday morning, Governor Ron DeSantis commented on the end of Title 42 and the immigration process in the United States.
DeSantis was asked how he feels about immigrants that work in the fields in Florida leaving the state as a result of immigration bills he passed last week.
He responded by saying "Florida law is you have to be here legally in order to be employed. That's been the law forever... You can't build a strong economy based on illegality."
He made other comments about what is happening at the southern border and blamed Biden and his "recklessness of opening the border."
