Lawyers and relatives of Tunisian opposition figures who were convicted of conspiring against state security, denounce what they call are 'made-up' verdicts, confirming that they will appeal. On Saturday, a Tunisian court handed down jail sentences of up to 66 years to multiple defendants, including vocal critics of President Kais Saied, in a mass trial criticised by rights groups.
