Description
At only 20 years old, Alexander Grassl did not hesitate to take over the Biergarten at Forsthaus St. Hubertus in Ebersberg, 30 kilometers from Munich, when the previous owner left. For a month and a half he has been working there with his parents, who also fell in love with the spot nestled in the woods where hikers and cyclists can enjoy a break. The Bavarian tradition of ‘beer gardens’ emerged in the 19th century and remains popular, especially with the arrival of spring and the approach of German Beer Day on April 23.
