Description
Some 5,000 demonstrators rallied in the northwestern city of Nantes in France on Labour Day, at the call of the trade unions, to protest against 'austerity' and 'war economy'. The demonstration saw clashes erupt between some groups of protesters and police forces on the sidelines of the demonstration, leading to fifteen arrests.
