Standing outside the Saint-Exupery secondary school in Creteil, where she studies, Cynthia cannot understand why she is facing deportation after living in France for almost ten years. About a hundred people are demonstrating with her outside the Val-de-Marne prefecture near Paris, where French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau visited earlier this week to present a new circular tightening the conditions for foreigners to be naturalised.
