Colorado Retires The Jersey Numbers of Hunter And Sanders This weekend the Colorado football program retired the jersey numbers of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. The two players were All-Americans and re-wrote the Buffaloes record book but many football fans on the front range were concerned about the hasty retirements. Only six players in the 135 year history of the program have had their numbers enshrined and discontinued from uniform circulation.
