Description
Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced on Tuesday that another wolf has died.
According to the organization, they received a mortality alert for male gray wolf 2507 on May 31. CPW said the death happened in northwest Colorado.
As the gray wolf is a federally listed species under the Endangered Species Act, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is investigating the wolf's death. A final determination of the cause of death will not be made until the investigation is complete, which includes the necropsy, the news release says.
