Description
In May 2015, North Texas was hit with a wave of severe weather that brought tornadoes and historic flash flooding. Entire communities were forced to make fast decisions as conditions worsened hour by hour.
WFAA crews were live throughout it all, from the first warnings to the overnight rescues. Our reporters, photojournalists, and meteorologists delivered updates on the ground and in the studio as the situation unfolded in real time.
Now, in a look back, we’re opening the WFAA archives to bring you the original broadcasts from May 23 and 24, 2015, exactly as they aired. You’ll see the moment-to-moment coverage, the field reports from flooded streets, and the stories of those caught in the middle of the storm.
