Description

Authorities will hold a procession Wednesday morning to bring the body of fallen Morrow County deputy Daniel Sherrer back to Mt. Gilead. The procession will start at 10:30 a.m. in Montgomery County. The path will take authorities up Interstate 71 to state Route 61 North. Crews will then take South Main Street to Snyder Funeral Home, located at 67 North Main St. The procession comes days after Sherrer was shot and killed in the line of duty while responding to a domestic situation on County Road 26 in Mairengo.
