The rally comes after a weekend of clashes triggered by immigration raids in Los Angeles, where President Donald Trump, in a show of force, deployed National Guard troops to quell protests. "What we're seeing is that folks are in the vicinity of ICE raids, and just because they have brown skin, brown eyes, and they look to be of a certain ethnicity, they're targeted," a DC high-school teacher tells AFP.
