Tropical Storm Idalia continues to grow stronger Monday morning. The storm is nearing western Cuba today and is expected to become a hurricane at any moment. The slow moving storm will eventually move at a faster speed later today as it enter the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. The storm is expected to grow stronger up until landfall Wednesday morning along the Florida Gulf Coast. Current forecasts have the storm as a major hurricane with winds over 115 mph. The forecast path is toward Florida's Big Bend north of Tampa by early Wednesday.
