An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect Friday as feels-like temperatures can range from 115° to 120°. A Heat Advisory will be in effect on Saturday, with feels-like temperatures around 110° to 115°. Another day of brutal heat and humidity is on tap Friday. Two days of record-breaking heat have lead up to this point at the New Orleans International Airport. Thursday's high temperature reading at the airport was 100°! The last time that happened was in 2016! Friday's high temperatures will once again soar to the upper 90's to near triple-digits this afternoon. Heat index values can be dangerous around 115° to 120°. Expect mostly dry conditions, with very low rain chances around 10% today.
