Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says the mostly dry and very hot weather lasts into the weekend with a more "normal" pattern returning next week An Excessive Heat Warning for Friday. High resolution models did a pretty good job indicating the development of a few showers and thunderstorms today. Not enough to cool off many of us, but more passing clouds and a lucky few under the cooling rain did benefit some! It's the small victories!
