Friday marks two weeks since 10 inmates escaped the Orleans Parish Justice Center. As the manhunt intensifies for the remaining two men, the cost of the search continues to add up. Friday, May 16, will go down as a historic day in New Orleans, a day marked as one of the most significant jail breaks the city has ever seen. Eight of the 10 inmates are back in custody, and are being held at Angola. Two of them, Antoine Massey and Derrick Groves however, are still on the run. Rafael Goyeneche with the New Orleans Metropolitan Crime Commission says, "There were 200 federal, state and local law enforcement assembled on a taskforce to look for these 10 individuals."
