Hurricane warnings issued for many parishes along Louisiana's southwestern parishes, Tropical Storm Warnings issued for north and south shores of New Orleans metro. As of the 10 AM Update on Tuesday, Francine remained a tropical storm with top winds of 65 mph and the track has shifted closer to the New Orleans metro area with hurricane warnings going to Lafourche and Terrebonne and Lower Jefferson parishes. Meteorologist Payton Malone says the storm will move quickly and that intensity is in doubt, and could be only a category-1 at landfall. The expectations are not for a lot of rainfall, but strong winds that could lead to power outages.
