Overall, there aren't any significant threats in the tropics, but there are a few areas to watch. The first is disturbed weather in the Gulf. Over the next 3-5 days showers and thunderstorms will sit over the western Gulf. It wouldn't be impossible for a weak low pressure to form as we head into the weekend and early next week. Regardless, this tropical moisture will bring rounds of rain to Texas and Louisiana over the next five days or so
