Description
Changes coming as we've been under mostly cloudy skies as a cold front continues to approach from the west. May see a few isolated storms after midnight, but most rain will be from Saturday morning into the afternoon. A few of the storms have a low risk to become strong to severe with a level 2 severe threat. An isolated weak, short-lived tornado is possible as well as strong winds within some of the storms. We could also see a few localized downpours leading to some street flooding. That threat seems fairly low.
Once the front moves through, we'll begin to dry out for Saturday evening and Sunday. Some mid and high clouds will likely linger then clear for Monday. On Halloween, afternoon highs will reach the mid-70s, and by the evening low 70s falling into the upper 60s. A weak disturbance will likely increase clouds and could trigger some spotty showers later Tuesday and into early Wednesday. Then an upper ridge will increase temps to the low 80s by the end of the week.
