Ian became a hurricane again as it went out over the Atlantic and is headed for another landfall in South Carolina. Ian has emerged over the Atlantic just off the coast of Cape Canaveral. The storm has reorganized into a hurricane and is projected to make landfall near Charleston, SC Friday evening as a category 1 hurricane. It will produce surge, high winds and heavy rain. The storm is expected to move into the Smoky Mountains in eastern North Carolina this weekend.
