People in Madrid eat ice cream and try to cool off as Spain is among European countries gripped by a heatwave that is expected to last until Wednesday. Temperatures in southern Spain soared to 46 degrees Celsius (115 degrees Fahrenheit) on Saturday, a new record for June, according to the national weather agency.
