Three bail bondsmen and a federal deportation officer are now in custody, accused of participating in a bribery scheme involving immigration enforcement. Federal prosecutors say the owner of A Way Out Bail Bonds, his son, and another employee allegedly paid an ICE officer to lift immigration detainers between April 2023 and March 2024. Each defendant could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
