Description
After daily afternoon and evening chances of rain and storms for 5 days, we will finally have quieter days with warmer weather!
While the weather will be perfect for holiday weekend events, remember to stay hydrated and don't forget the sunscreen with higher UV indices.
We'll see a few more clouds during the afternoon and there is the risk of a few pop-up showers and storms through evening (although most of us will remain dry). But the good news is rain chances drop off by sunset, perfect forecast for Red, White & BOOM!
The Fourth of July forecast looks very similar on Friday, with most of us staying dry but the possibility for a stray shower/storm in the afternoon/early evening.
As we close out the week and head into the weekend, the heat and humidity will slowly increase, but not to the dangerous levels we dealt with last week.
Highs will still push into the 90s, with Sunday on track to be the warmest of the next week. With the warmer weather will also come an upward tick in humidity, so we will be watching the heat indices (or feels-like) temperatures as they could get into the mid to upper 90s.
By early next week, we'll be tracking more storms, with heavy rain and wind being the main threats to prepare for.
