A 10TV Weather Impact Alert continues for ​today and Friday. Hot and humid conditions are expected to continue across Ohio over the next several days. Similar to Wednesday, scattered storms will pop-up during the afternoon with chances lingering into the early evening. Widespread severe storms are not expected, but any of the storms could quickly strengthen and produce localized heavy rain, hail and winds over 60 mph. So if you are outdoors in the afternoon and evening, be on watch for rapidly changing conditions. The heat continues to be relentless through the weekend, but there may be some relief as storm chances return, which may help to cool things off. This will be followed by more unsettled weather and a very small drop in temperatures arriving by the end of the weekend and into the following week. Looking further ahead to the final days of June and into early July, our temperatures are still trending toward normal — settling back into the mid-80s — which will be a welcome change from the intense heat we're dealing with this week.
