Description
A 10TV Weather Impact Alert continues through Wednesday and has now also been issued for Friday for the extreme heat.
Hot and humid conditions are expected to continue across Ohio over the next several days.
Heat Advisories continue for all of central Ohio once again today, as high temperatures reach the 90s, and heat index values climb over 100.
The heat is expected to continue into the end of the week and next weekend, but there may be some relief as storm chances return, which may help to cool things off through Saturday.
Widespread strong storms are not expected Wednesday, but any storms that do form could produce very heavy rain, gusty winds and some hail.
Thursday will also feature some showers & a few storms midday through the evening. In addition to bringing some rain, the clouds & showers will effectively drop temperatures a little.
For Friday, the heat looks to tick upward again to levels similar to Wednesday and so that is also now a 10 Weather Impact Alert Day.
This will be followed by more unsettled weather and a very small drop in temperatures arriving by the end of the weekend and into the following week.
Looking further ahead to July 4th weekend, our temperatures are still trending above normal (mid to upper 80s), but not to the intense level that we're dealing with this week.
