Description
An alleged leader of Taliban Choppa Gang, 19-year-old Johnny Loaisiga, has signed a plea agreement to serve a three-year sentence for battery with a deadly weapon.
As part of the plea agreement, Loaisiga admits to shooting another Arsenal Tech High School student on Halloween Day 2024 at the Cedars Apartment Homes complex in the 3400 block of North Rybolt Avenue, near West 34th Street and Lafayette Road.
The shooting incident allegedly stemmed from a turf battle over selling marijuana vapes at Arsenal Tech High School. The victim told police that Loaisiga had stolen his backpack at school about a week earlier.
