Description
Two people sustained minor injuries after crashing their car into an Indianapolis Fire Department station Saturday afternoon.
According to IFD, just before 7 p.m. on May 31, the IFD Station 1 located at 1903 West 10th Street on the near west side of Indianapolis sustained damage after a car hit the building.
IFD says an 18-year-old male driver and a 19-year-old female passenger were the occupants of the vehicle at the time of the crash and that both suffered "minor" injuries. They were taken to Eskenazi Hospital for further care.
No firefighters were injured and the accident is under investigation by IU Police, according to IFD.
