Description
On the first day of his trial before the Tarn Assize Court, Frenchman Cédric Jubillar, accused of murdering his wife Delphine, reaffirmed his innocence in the 2020 disappearance of the 33-year-old nurse. Civil party lawyer Laurent Boguet dismissed his stance, saying he ‘cannot be satisfied with incantatory statements’ and citing ‘a tendency to manipulate.’ For the defense, however, lawyer Emmanuelle Franck argued that Jubillar ‘doesn’t know what to do to please people and appear innocent.’ IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
