Description
Dr. Wendy Osefo, star of "Real Housewives of Potomac" and her husband Eddie Osefo were arrested in Carroll County, Maryland, for allegedly faking a burglary. Deputies responded to a Finksburg home on April 7, 2024, after the couple reported more than $200,000 in jewelry, luxury goods, clothing, and shoes stolen. Investigators say they discovered at least $20,000 worth of the items had been returned to stores and found photos of the Osefos wearing some of the reportedly stolen jewelry.
The couple was arrested on Oct. 9, 2025, and released on bail on Oct. 10, 2025. Wendy Osefo stars in the 10th season of Real Housewives of Potomac, which just premiered days before the arrest. This isn’t the first legal controversy for RHOP cast members—previous incidents involved DUI convictions and altercations, including Karen Huger, Monique Samuels, and Candiace Dillard Bassett.
It remains unclear if the ongoing season will address Osefo’s arrest.
