Milo's Deli, the latest culinary offering from Louie Pappas and Demetra Stefanidis, is opening on Thursday.
The restaurant takes over space at 401 W. Town St., the former location of Strongwater Food & Spirits, which closed early last year.
Thursday's opening marks Milo's return to Franklinton. The deli first opened in 1998 on West Broad Street, but later closed as owners focused on the catering business.
Pappas and Stefanidis look to capture a "reimagined, old-world vibe" within the deli. Menu options include made-to-order salads, panini sandwiches with house-made ciabatta or focaccia, classic Italian pasta and more. A variety of sides will be available, including roasted eggplant, potato salad and pasta dishes. The space will also include a full bakery.
Milo's Deli will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The full beverage menu will include crafted cocktails. Menu items range from $10 to $15. Customers can eat in the dining room or choose a "grab-and-go" option.
