Scattered showers and possibly a few storms will around Thursday, with the heaviest impacts again looking to be in the first half of the day and across the southern and eastern part of the 10TV viewing area. A little sunshine is possible, and an isolated afternoon shower isn't out of the question either with temperatures near normal for late September. The pattern shifts again heading into the weekend, as we dry out and warm up back above average into the low 80s. Sunshine and drier conditions arrive for Friday and that will continue throughout the weekend. We stay dry and warm as we close out the month of September.
