Description
There were cheers in the courtroom when a Hendricks County judge rejected a plea deal for an Avon chiropractor accused of sexually assaulting his patients.
The deal fell apart at a May 29 hearing that was supposed to be for sentencing.
Roc Byrd had signed a plea agreement on April 24, pleading guilty to four counts of sexual battery. That deal said "no executed jail sentence shall be imposed."
