Description
IMPD is investigating after a crash involving an IndyGo bus on Indianapolis' south side Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported shortly before 8 a.m. May 27 in the 8400 block of South Emerson Avenue, between East Stop 11 and County Line roads.
A 13News crew at the scene found the bus with heavy front-end damage across the median.
An IMPD spokesperson said no other vehicles were involved, and the IndyGo bus driver was "awake and breathing" with a complaint of pain. The bus struck a guardrail before coming to a stop across the median, the spokesperson said.
There was no one else on the bus at the time of the crash.
