A man convicted of killing a good Samaritan who tried to break up a fight at a Denver park was sentenced Friday to 40 years in prison. Trahavonie Smith, 27, was convicted of second-degree murder and unlawful possession of a large capacity magazine in April for shooting and killing Garry Arellano on April 27, 2022.
