A strong wind gust slammed Centennial on Monday afternoon and caused damage in a few spots around the city. The 66 mph wind gust was reported at Centennial Airport about 12:30 p.m. Monday. Soon after, South Metro Fire Rescue responded to multiple trees that had fallen on South Spruce Street in Centennial.
