Description
Marion County's top election official is now accusing the state's top election official of violating election laws.
At the heart of the issue is video used in a re-election ad for Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.
Marion County Clerk Kate Sweeney Bell says the video was taken during an official visit from the secretary of state's office to the Marion County Election Service Center on Election Day last November.
Sweeney Bell says because it was an official visit, using the video in a campaign ad violates Indiana law, which says government employees can't use government property to carry out campaign-related activities.
