Description
A trip to the Indiana Dunes National and State Parks continues to be a surprise to thousands of visitors every year. For many, a trip to one of the nation's smallest national parks is so memorable because just north of our famed Hoosier cornfields is a park with 15 miles of coastline, more than 15,000 acres and at least 10 different ecosystems along the shores of Lake Michigan.
From the history of Mt. Baldy to 50 miles of trails, guests can learn the history of the park at the Visitor Center and plan their trip with the help of rangers on duty.
Visitors can also stay at the popular Beachwalk Vacation Rentals along Lake Michigan's most beautiful beaches.
How popular is the Dunes? Since it became a national park in 2019, attendance has increased by nearly 1 million guests each year!
