Indiana lawmakers have passed a bill to invite Illinois counties into the Hoosier state. The House voted to concur with the Senate version on April 17. House Enrolled Act 1008 now heads to Gov. Mike Braun's desk for consideration. "Indiana is a great place to live, work, raise your kids and enjoy a high quality of life," Speaker Todd Huston, the bill's author, said.
