Description
On April 11, Indianapolis Metro Police released edited body camera video of a deadly police shooting on the east side of Indianapolis on Feb. 26.
Adam Sykes, 31, was wanted on a warrant when he was recognized by IMPD officers in the 1600 block of East Washington Street, near State Avenue.
The video begins with a security camera's view of two IMPD officers standing outside a store as a man, identified as Sykes, walks out of the store.
In the video, the officers ask to speak with Sykes, who takes off running. The IMPD officers chase him, warning "stop, or you're going to get tased."
