An Indianapolis man was arrested Wednesday after a shooting that injured a woman two days prior, IMPD announced Thursday. Brandon Rivers, 43, has been formally charged with domestic battery by means of a deadly weapon, battery by means of a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a handgun with a prior conviction and unlawful possession of a firearm by a domestic batterer, according to online court records. The shooting was reported around 10 p.m. Monday, April 7 in the 900 block of Burdsal Parkway, near Fall Creek Boulevard and West 24th Street.
