Description
A Danville man died after coming into contact with downed power lines Wednesday night as severe storms moved through the area, police said.
The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. April 2 on Country Road 75 West, north of Country Road 200 South, in Danville.
Responding Hendricks County sheriff's deputies found several downed power lines blocking the road and a blue Dodge pickup truck on fire near the east edge of the road.
The deputies also saw an unresponsive person on the ground near the car.
