The Marion County Prosecutor is charging 22-year-old Gurpreet Singh with Arson and Arson with the intent to defraud for a fire on April 22, 2024. The prosecutor says Singh burned his own home down in the 5700 block of Tart Boulevard, not far from Edgewood Avenue and South Franklin Road. It took firefighters most of an hour to get the fire under control it. It did an estimated $430,000 in damage to the home.
