Indianapolis Metro Police released video of a deadly police shooting in Lawrence. The shooting happened Dec. 30, 2024 when a Lawrence police officer tried to pull someone over in the 6500 block of Pendleton Pike. That is near the intersection of 38th Street and Shadeland Avenue. Kenneth Thaddeus Roberts Jr., 48, was behind the wheel of the car. He let a woman out of his vehicle and then drove off. The Lawrence officer began to chase him.
