Description
Purdue University has bought a property in downtown as part of its expansion in Indianapolis.
The university has acquired the two-story property at 518-520 Indiana Ave., in the heart of the Indiana Ave. Historic District, which is the former site of Schultz & Pogue LLP and BrewLogix. According to county records, Purdue paid $4.5 million to buy the property in January.
This property will allow Purdue to meet the demands of growing enrollment and address merging "near-term student support and other space needs" in Indianapolis, officials said.
