Description
Hoosiers are very familiar with the story of the Barnetts — Michael, Kristine and their adopted daughter, Natalia.
Hulu is adapting their story into an eight-episode limited series called "Good American Family," told from multiple perspectives to reflect the contrasting narratives.
The Indiana couple, portrayed in the series by Golden Globe nominee Ellen Pompeo ("Grey's Anatomy") and Emmy nominee Mark Duplass ("The Morning Show," "Creep"), adopts a girl (Imogen Faith Reid) with a rare form of dwarfism.
Questions quickly emerge about Natalia's age and background, as Michael and Kristine are starting to wonder if she is who she says she is — all while Natalia is fighting her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds.
New episodes of "Good American Family" are released Wednesdays through April 30 on Hulu.
