Since this seismic shift took place, NIL has generally been viewed as a negative addition to amateur sports. For 2020 Indiana Mr. Basketball Anthony Leal, it's been overwhelmingly positive. This student of the game is just that — a student first. Utilizing the tools he learned by working toward his business degree, Leal saw an opportunity for NIL to benefit him and start a business. Basketball in Indiana is a religion. You don't need a business degree to know that. For the Bloomington South alum, it's just another day at the office.
