One woman is dead and two others are recovering after a shooting and crash in Anderson Sunday. Around 3 a.m. Feb. 2, Anderson Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1500 block of South Madison Avenue, near West 14th Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found one woman injured in the street and another in front of a nearby home, who were both taken to hospitals. Police learned later that a third woman had checked herself into a hospital after being struck by a vehicle after the shooting.
