A Tipton County Sheriff's Deputy is recovering after being injured in a crash with an allegedly intoxicated driver early Sunday morning. According to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, around 3:50 a.m. on Feb. 2, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department received a call to respond to a crash involving an on-duty Tipton County deputy at the intersection of County Road 725 West and State Road 28, which is just west of US 31 in Jefferson Township.
